Pre Lift Rules
- You must be 18 yrs. or older t participate in the lift.
- You must be registered for the 5K to participate in the
lift.
- You must bring your bib number with you to the weigh in
station.
- You must weigh in and receive a lift info card before
you lift your assigned weight.
Lift Rules
- Once you start lifting you must continue until you feel
you can no longer lift safely (more than a three second stop
between lifts will end your lift time).
- On the downward stroke you must bring the bar to within
a fist of your chest.
- On the upward stroke, you must straighten your arms (locked elbows are not required).
You can lift at what ever speed you wish.
Note: Short arming a stroke will not be allowed.
The spotter will disallow that lift. If participant continues
short lifting, he/she will be disqualified. The Lift N Run
director has final decision on all disputed.
